TICKET FAQ’S

To camp at the festival you can only purchase camping as a package:
a) Camping Package with Campsite Package ( includes a 3Day Festival ticket + campsite)
On arrival you will receive a coloured tag for your tent, vehicle or caravan, which will identify you as official Folk Festival Campers, allowing you access to the grounds. This coloured tag for your tent/van and car which will signify to the volunteers who check the ground, that you have paid for your site and you are camping in the correct area. All campers must secure the supplied tag to their tent or van or car.
Please note camping rates are flat rates, so whether you stay one or three nights, you will pay the same amount.

You can buy tickets online at our Humantix home page here. They will be sent to your email or mobile number.
Also our festival office also sells physical tickets at the front gate from 3PM Friday till the Sunday afternoon.

FESTIVAL PASSES: Please choose carefully as we do not give refunds simply because you changed your mind or made the wrong decision. Medical cases and financial hardship are examples for refund consideration. An option may also be provided to defer the passes to the next Festival. Refunds after 8 January are not available.
Please provide a valid reason for the refund to info@illawarrafolkclub.org.au or call 1300 887 034. If approved a 10% cancellation fee may apply, and the refund will be provided to the credit card used for purchase if the event is cancelled. This will happen within 7 days of the cancellation notification. An email will be sent confirming the refund has been processed.
MERCHANDISE: Please choose carefully as we do not give refunds simply because you changed your mind or made the wrong decision. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods are faulty, wrongly described, different from a sample shown to you or don’t do what they are supposed to do.
Please retain your receipt or email confirmation for proof of purchase.
A copy of the original receipt or email confirmation must also be included in the return envelope. Please allow 14 – 30 days for your item to be returned. Freight charges to and from the customer will be paid by Illawarra Folk Club.

The following information is applicable to all persons attending the Illawarra Folk Festival.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Illawarra Folk Club inc. (IFC) shall not have any liability to you beyond the face value of the ticket purchased, plus any relevant per ticket service charge. The IFC shall not be liable for any loss of enjoyment or wasted expenditure. IFC accepts no responsibility for any personal property loss, damage or breakage howsoever occasioned.
Injury at events
The IFC is the promoter of this recreational event, the Illawarra Folk Festival (IFF). It utilises existing grounds, buildings, stalls, kennels, roadways and pathways, owned or leased from various organisations. It does so on a “as is basis” and subject to existing faults (if any), the current condition and state of repair, of the grounds, buildings, stalls, kennels, roadways and pathways, so that to the extent permitted by law, IFC disclaims all liability for any injuries or death sustained, however caused, during the running of the IFF. The IFC has tried to make the IFF an enjoyable and safe experience, please take care and stay alert at all times you are at the IFF. If you or your minor are injured immediately ask a volunteer for assistance or directions to or first aid room or contact an emergency service.
You assume all risks whilst you attend or participate at the IFF, regardless of what activity you are involved in at the IFF.
By purchasing a ticket, or receiving a ticket as a performer, or as our guest, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions in your personal capacity and on behalf of any other member of a band or group you are applying for, and for any accompanying minor. If you purchase tickets for a minor, you are responsible for their behaviour and safety whilst at the IFF.
License, Ejection and Cancellation: No Redemption Value
The IFC reserves the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose conduct the IFC, their agents, employees or contractors deems to be disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language or who otherwise fails to comply with any IFC directions concerning the management of the IFF. The IFF is a licensed venue. In accordance with liquor licensing law, intoxicated persons are not allowed to remain on licensed premises and will be asked to leave. No alcohol is permitted to be brought into the licensed area of the IFF. Breach of any such terms and conditions will terminate your revocable licence to attend the event without refund or compensation.
All persons attending the IFF must hold a valid ticket and display a valid armband.
The applicable law is that of New South Wales.
