In the dark days of 2004, the Australian Morris dancing scene was capering t’ward a doleful grave. When Lo! Black Joak Morris was born. A wailing infant crying for a small beer, come to revive the old dances and imbue them with vigour and youthfulness. With their distinctive bells and ribbons, they perform at festivals far and wide, drinking beer and spreading cheer.
